Today we reached a milestone: after months of planning plus several months of demolition and excavation, we finally took the first step towards construction of the new house!
Dan and Walt from Insul Hub laid the pad for the site crane which will be installed in April.
Concrete was provided by volumetric mixer supplied by local company, Oxcrete.

The real work will start in April but today feels like a step in the right direction.
