Cezary of Expanse Surveys Ltd has now carried out the detailed survey and, despite everyone’sbest efforts, the hole is not quite big enough! Due to the design of the basement waterproofing system, the contractor will need 400mm working space all around the slab and walls.
Luckily, G E Groundworks has an excavator on site ready for the drains and James has quickly rectified the problem. He has also ensured that the approach to the slab for the tower crane has been reduced as the crane trailer cannot deal with a ledge of more than 200mm.
Of course, this has meant more work for Fleetwood Grab Services Ltd‘s 20t grab lorries trucks!
